1966 PA30B Turbo Twin Comanche N8031Y - Price Pending
Recent P&I - C/R Engines - Recent Props - Updated Avionics - Beautiful
Summary
This is one of the nicest original PA30's we've ever seen. N7887Y is a 1966 straight PA30 Twin Comanche with counter-rotating (C/R) engines. The airplane had a damage in 1978 (see damage report below). It is beautifully equipped with an updated instrument panel and digital avionics. And it has beautiful, recent paint and interior in the original scheme. The aircraft has mid-time engines and typically, it is almost impossible to overhaul engines on legacy airplanes without having more invested in the airplane than it is worth. That said, N7387Y is an exception. Our recommendation would be to fly this lovely airplane as long as the engines remain strong, compressions remain above 70 and overhaul the engines when the time comes.
